The events at Palandöken were part of a project funded by the Czech Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Industry & Trade which was locally supported by the Erzurum Kayak Klübü (Ski Club), one of the oldest in the country.

The project events included Czech wintersports companies' presentations and B2B contacts in Ankara on 22 March and in Palandöken on 24 and 25 March, on site demonstrations of gear and wear, presentations of Czech ski & racing scene and junior ski & snowboard GS races organised by the Erzurum Kayak Külübu.
