The 4th edition of the Diplomatic Ski Race

The 4th edition of the Diplomatic Ski Race took place at Erciyes/Develi on Saturday 24 February 2024, co-organised by the Embassies of Czechia, Austria, Norway and Slovenia with the invaluable support from the Erciyes Corporation/Kayseri Municipality, Turkish Ski Federation and the corporate partners Karspor and Auto Yüce. 110 ski and snowboard racers of all age categories, both international and Turkish, from several ski clubs of Ankara and Kayseri, took part in the event that saw many winners on the podium, including ambassadors of Austria, Norway and Slovenia. At the medal ceremony conducted by Amb. P.Vacek, medals, cups, diplomas and prizes were handed over to the race winners; also, the sad 2nd anniversary of the beginning of the Russian aggression against Ukraine was recalled.
