Next, at the provincial seat, he met with the Deputy Governor, Mr. Luc Gillard, with whom he discussed the current level and further possibilities of cooperation between the province and the Pilsen Region and the history of the long-standing relations between the two regions and the cities of Liège and Pilsen.

Finally, he visited the headquarters of John Cockerill, where he discussed with representatives of the company the possibilities of its involvement in energy projects in the Czech Republic.

On Friday, 12 April, the Ambassador then visited the city of Ghent, where he discussed with Mayor Mathias De Clercq possible forms of cooperation between the city of Ghent and cities from the Czech Republic within the framework of projects funded by EU programmes.
