Who has to get an electronic vignette?

Motor vehicles with at least four wheels and a maximum permissible weight of 3.5 tonnes are required to purchase an electronic vignette.

Trailers and motorcycles are not subject to the obligation. However, as of 1 January 2021, the list of exempt vehicles has been extended.

1. If the vehicle is registered abroad.
   1. WHO MUST SUBMIT NOTICE?
      1. Electric, hydrogen or hybrid vehicles (CO2 emissions up to 50 g/km).
         • COMPLETE THE NOTIFICATION:
           1. from 1 December 2020 online at www.edalnice.cz/osvobozeni
           2. electronically or manually to Form A available at https://edalnice.cz/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/SFDI_formular_dalnicni_znamka_osvobozeni_A_interaktivni.pdf

 

HOW DO I FILE A NOTICE OF EXEMPTION?

1. Email the notice with a certified signature to epodatelna@edalnice.cz.
