Velvet Meet Up - celebration of the 32nd anniversary of the Velvet Revolution

The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York and the Czech Center New York would like to invite you to the Bohemian National Hall on 17 November 2021 at 6:30 pm to celebrate the anniversary of the Velvet Revolution. At the same time we will commemorate the International Student Day.

Velvet Meet Up will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 pm on the 2nd floor of the gallery, at the same time from 7:30 pm in the cinema of the Bohemian National Hall we are screening the film Tender Waves by Jiří Vejdělek.

The celebrations will take the form of an informal glass of wine with an exhibition by Czech-American illustrator Petr Sís and with DJ Martina Vesla to the music of the 90s.
