Czech movie Il Boemo at the EU Film Festival in South Africa 2023

On October 12 – 22, 2023, the 10th edition of the European Film Festival will take place in South Africa. 16 selected European films will be screened in movie theatres in Johannesburg and Pretoria, and in a limited selection in Durban. In addition, the festival will present programmes also in Eswatini (October 20-22) and Lesotho (October 26-28). The Czech Republic will be represented by the movie Il Boemo (2022) by Director Petr Václav, portraying the life and career of the Czech composer Josef Mysliveček.

The screenings of Il Boemo:

• In Cape Town -15 October, from 6:30pm at Labia Theatre
• In Johannesburg – 21 October, from 6:00pm at Ster Kinekor The Zone
