The Czech Jazz Trio Dorůžka / Novák / Slavík with David Dorůžka on guitar, Martin Novák on drums and Jiri Slavik on double-bass and keyboards, presented to an international audience and our compatriots their own works, the arrangement of songs from the repertoire of the  R. A. Dvorský orchestra and jazz standards by T . Monk, Ch. Mingus and D. Reinhardt. All performances of the Trio, professional and emotional approach of artists were met with exceptional response and in all cases they were awarded by a prolonged standing ovation.

The musician and teacher Jiri Slavik Junior arranged within his short stay in Saudi Arabia a seminar for students of the music department at the American International School in Riyadh.

In Saudi Arabia, music productions are rare and only a few European foreign missions are able to organize them. Concerts of the Czech Jazz Trio helped to increase awareness of the Czech Republic in Riyadh and through viewers and listeners from many countries around the world also in these communities.
