Czech film weekend at the Goethe Institute

The Embassy of the Czech Republic invites all film fans to the Czech Film Weekend, which will take place on 17-18. October 2020 at the Goethe Institute.

As part of the first film evening, a screening of Jiří Menzel's most famous film, the Closely Watched Trains, which received the film Oscar in 1967, will take place. In this way, we remember and honor the recently deceased legend of Czech film.

The second screening will be modern work in the form of the film Painted Bird by director Václav Marhoul. This film was also nominated for an Oscar in 2019.

We hereby invite all movie fans and wish you a pleasant experience!
