The program was held by his translator and front Czech scholar in Romania, Prof. Anca Irina Ionescu (translations from Jan Hus, Jan Neruda, Karlina Světlá, Jan Patočka and other authors), who celebrated her important anniversary that same day. Jiří Orten‘s collection of poetry and prose called House of Glass translated by her and Alexandra Toader was released on this occasion.

The meeting was also attended by Jiří Orten Prize winner, the Czech poet Marie Šťastná, who shared her poetic creation experience with the participants and presented a part of her work translated by the Romanian poet and translator M. D. Duţă. The poetry evening was received with great interest and appreciation by approximately 50 participants.
