The delegation was headed by the chairman of the Committee on Social Policy MP Jaroslav Zavadil, who was accompanied by the members of the Committee MPs Jana Hnyková, Jana Pastuchová a Zuzana Šánová. Besides talks with a delegation of the partnership Committee on Labour and Social Protection, Committee for Health of the National Assembly of the Parliament of Romania, Committee on Labour, Family and Social Protection of the Senate of the Parliament of Romania and Committee on Public Health of the Senate of the Parliament of Romania, the delegation had meetings at the Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Protection, National Agency for Children Protection, National Agency for Persons with Disabilities and visited Children´s Center of St. Joseph and Center for Aged People Don Orione.

The visit aimed at strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation. The Czech side focused, among others, on Romanian legislation in areas of labour and employment, social insurance, social services, children, senior and disabled persons care, pension system, labour market etc.
