The Ambassador Halka Kaiserová participated in NATO STEADFEST DEFENDER 2021 exercise at Cincu

On 30 May - 1 June 2021, the third part of the NATO operational and tactical exercise STEADFEST DEFENDER 2021 (STDE21) took place at the Cincu military base in Romania, the demonstration part of which was also attended by Ambassador Halka Kaiserová on 31 May 2021.
NATO Exercise STDE21 was part of a three-part series of multilateral military exercises held in the Atlantic and Europe since May, bringing together more than 20 NATO allies and partners from North America and Europe. The exercises were designed to test NATO readiness and military mobility - deploying forces on land and sea from North America to the Black Sea region and the coast of Portugal. More than 9 000 troops took part in the exercise. The third part of the multinational training in Romania involved 12 NATO countries, including Turkey, and around 2 200 troops and 550 vehicles.
