1st Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Vít Rakušan received a high State decoration from President K. Iohannis in Bucharest

Minister Rakušan was awarded with the high state decoration "Star of Romania" by Romanian President Klaus Iohannis at the rank of "Grand Officer" for consolidating and strengthening mutual relations between Romania and Czechia. Minister Rakušan officially received the decoration from Romanian Interior Minister Predoiu during an official ceremony.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Vit Rakušan visited Bucharest on 14 and 15 September to meet his Romanian counterpart, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Catalin Predoiu. They discussed topics such as Schengen enlargement, migration and civil protection systems.
